Kids Say the Cutest Things
- In the Listening Station, six students were plugging the headphones into the CD player so they could listen to the story while reading the corresponding book. The children requested, Can we have the iPod today?
A little girl had just finished her first week of kindergarten. I'm just wasting time, she said to her mother. I can't read, I can't write, and they won't let me talk!
When the driver stopped the school bus to pick up Chris for preschool, she noticed an older woman hugging him as he left the house. Is that your grandmother?, she asked.  Yes, chris said. She's come to visit us.  How nice, I said. Where does she live? At the airport, Chris replied. Whenever we want her, we just go out there and get her.
